Two Keepers down this weekend! Grats EOI. We’ve now downed 8 Ulduar bosses, which is not too shabby!

Many thanks to guildies and our two guests, for getting our first Keeper down. Grats on Xanju for winning the tier token for her shoulders!
We also had our second EOI Ignis kill on Friday. All in all we got 7 bosses down in one night, and a good time was had by all. Especially the plate wearers, since almost everything that dropped was plate.
We had a few more boss kills while I was busy breaking WordPress. Fortunately folks picked up my slack and got the pieces together for me. Thanks to Coop for the words and Geiger for the pix!
IGNIS BURNED - 5/14/2009
EoI - with the assistance of a few friends - took down a new boss tonight. Ignis, the fiery menace that has plagued EoI for nearly a month now, fell and we congratulate all who were there to extinguish his flame. Two Great job everyone!
AURIAYA AND PETS TAMED - 5/15/2009
We made the Auriaya fight look simple with a two-shot take down. With some masterful maneuvering by Geiger, the panthers and LoS issues that harm some guilds’ strategies seemed non-existent. Many thanks to the expert healing, and blow-you-away DPS that made the fight look like cake. Congratulations on taking down the Amazon.
Obviously with Auriaya down we managed to get ahead of Kologarn, so I’ll have to find a pic of that as well. Cheers to everyone for their hard work and dead bosses!
Well, Uludar is not the loot gimme that Naxx turned out to be. But we went in to see how it would go and one shot Flame Leviathan. It’s a fun fight, but it is based on situational awareness AND gear level. The riding around on a motorcycle dropping tar and buzzing off and out of range of the big guy was really fun, as well as the massive mayhem of trash clearing.
We didn’t beat the enrage timer on XT-002 Deconstructor, I suspect that that one will just take us all committing the strats to heart (sorry I had to go there).
Anyway, we’ll be spending some time in there learning the fights. If you’re geared from Naxx and like a challenge, please sign up! Blizzard did a great job on the place, and you’ll have a good time.
Congrats to Gatherer for a seamless switch of the domain/site/etc to its new home!
Vicaar and Sangrall signing off as your Mad Hatters, but we’ll still drop in on occassion to say ‘hi’. Good luck to all!

with the guys from Justice tonight. It was a great first joint raid for both guilds, and we messed together like pros to take Sartharion down with 1 drake. Thanks to everyone who came along, it was a fun night and a well earned kill. Tackling content with another guild for the first time isn’t easy, doing it on one of it’s hard modes is even harder, but we pulled through. Grats to all the loot winners.
Don’t you love it when you make no changes, but something decides to break? For no apparent reason, Wordpress decided it didn’t like the Asides functionality anymore. I’m guessing something on the host may have changed (php version possibly?) that tripped a latent bug in the K2 theme code.
Long story short - I modified the code to disable the bug, and the site is back. We lost a panel or two on the right side of the screen, but there wasn’t much there anyway!
So EOI killed a dragon tonight. This Dragon’s a bit different though. This dragon represents EOI having downed all Wrath content until the next major patch. This dragon represents many many hours, many painful wipes, and an incredible amount of gold in repair bills. This dragon represents what EOI is good at, banding together to do something great. However, this dragon wouldn’t have died were it not for the efforts of outside guild friends coming in and sticking around until he finally went down.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this kill possible. Whether you wear an EOI guild tag, or helped those who do, we thank you. EOI stands proudly for the first time, having cleared every raid instance currently available. While that may seem trivial to some, this hunter is very proud of his guild. Congratulations to all, see you in Ulduar!
Yeah, we suck at updating. When it comes to raiding though, we’re not to shabby. We finished Naxx with our guild first kill of Sapphiron on 12/21 and Kel’Thuzad on 12/22. Grats to Biggins on the guild first tier 7 headpiece. Also, grats to everyone involved in this well deserved kill. It was a guild effort for sure, with many respecs and repair bills along the way.

We turn our sights to our next feat, Malygos. Raiding has been fun for this hunter thus far, I like to think instance difficulty is where it needs to be considering how early into the expansion we are. Again, grats to everyone involved in all 15 bosses kills of Naxx, EOI is truely stronger than ever.
